Indices: Dow consolidates on China data
(London) - Dow legged around 25 points in the opening minutes of trade before cutting back immediately. The US index peaked at 10583 before withdrawing to its current level at 10568. Price has remained fairly steady consolidating on last weeks gains.
Strong jobs data last week and the positive trade data from China have both been well recieved by players, as such a reutrn to risk appears to be in play with both stockmarkets and commodities broadly up.
